Jed won tickets (in a drawing he didn't know he entered) to Stadium of Fire. I was so excited! Jed was working that day, so I took Abigail. This is after our 10+ block walk to the stadium. We had pretty decent seats but it was 100 degrees and I was dying. That's why this picture's extra scary. But at least Abi is gorgeous with those piercing blue eyes.
We lucked out, because there was quite a bit of space around us. Abi made herself at home on the bench in front of me when it started. She had her legs crossed and everything. Such a little lady. :)
Here's Abi and Brad Paisley. He's amazing. It was such a fun show! Abi thought David Archuleta was cute. She was so excited for the fireworks and then they scared her half to death. She wimpered and screamed, "I wanna go home!" for the first have of the firework show and then fell asleep! That made the long walk back to the car extra hard on mom!
Monday, July 4, the kids and I got up early and met Jed in Murray to ride in their Murray Days Parade. We were on the big Tower truck and got to throw tons of candy. We had a BLAST! We are so grateful for Jed to work in such a wonderful community!
Here's me and the kiddos on the truck after the parade ended. What a fun day! We love Independence Day!
